Every wedding begins with the same philosophy: be present, pay attention, make beautiful photographs, and let the day remain yours.
From intimate celebrations to full wedding days, I'll work with you beforehand to understand what matters, photograph the day as it unfolds, and create a finished collection that feels like your wedding rather than a collection of photographic obligations.

Fill out the form and tell me a little about what you're planning.
Your date, your location, and whatever you already know is enough.

Let's Talk
We can meet in person around Ithaca, talk on the phone, or connect by video.
We'll talk about the day, what matters to you, and how you'd like the photography to fit into it.

The Day
This is my favorite part. We have the details all sorted out and there's nothing left to do but photograph.
You get married.

STEP 04
Your Photographs
Your finished gallery will be ready within two weeks.
You'll receive your photographs in an online gallery, and I'll prepare your album from the images you choose.
Can you describe your style/How do you photograph?
Decisive, pictorial and honest.
I'm interested in what's actually happening. I look for the relationships, expressions, light and strange little moments that give a wedding its character. Some photographs are made. Some are found.
How long will it take to get my photos back?
Two weeks, that's it. I want you to have your images soon. I know what it's like to be waiting for your pictures. I work very hard to return your images to you within the time period. Even during peak season you will have your images returned within a few weeks. After each wedding I work every day during the week in my studio editing the images.
What is an engagement session?
An engagement session is a portrait photo session with you and your partner. It's a great way to warm up to the camera so that you're relaxed with it on your wedding day. I will photograph candid and posed images. The location is up to you. Some places I have worked: urban centers, piers, beaches, old mansions, first date restaurants, parks. Use your imagination and pick a great spot. And remember that a fun activity you do together makes great photos. The images are delivered within one week and uploaded to your gallery. This is meant to be a fun light experience so don't worry to much about it. It helps us build rapport for the wedding day and the photos make great save the date cards.
Do you offer albums or prints?
Yes absolutely! To me a photograph is a completed print. I want you to have wall art in your home to enjoy from our time together. And included with every package is a photo album. You pick your favorite photos, and I create your album for you. You will see a draft and make changes before we print.
What are your payment terms?
To reserve your wedding date, a signed contract and a 20% non-refundable deposit are required. The remaining balance is due 30 days before your wedding.
Do you edit all of the images?
Yes! I go through and cull the entire collection. Then I take this set and edit for tone, color, and sharpness. I want each and every one of your images to be solid stand alone images. I want you to be able to print large any image and know that it has been professionally edited and will look great.
